Another small reversible tablecloth finished this afternoon. I love these because they are so simple and go together so fast! I love the coffee/bistro theme in this fabric!

The weather was beautiful today - sunshine, a bit of clouds, then a tad bit of rain (HUGE raindrops!!) that lasted for just a few minutes, and earlier the wind was a bit wild. Things are quiet now, and I'm getting sleepy. Love days where I feel like I've accomplished a lot!

My mom has a bad cold, so I'm praying for a speedy recovery for her. She's an amazing, dear woman! Hoping to fly up to Northern Idaho in June to spend some time with her - we're both very excited!

Just finished a small table cover today. Nothing fancy or difficult, but a fun one :-)

I'm really enjoying the fact that spring is here - the daffodils and tulips are blooming all around the yards, the trees have new blossoms, and the I'm loving the sunshine!!

I have really been lagging on my projects of late but finally got motivated today. Had purchased a kit for a cute little apron from my favorite Quilt Shop in Albuquerque a couple days ago. The project was fun and took just a few hours to complete.

I'm not much of a photographer, as is obvious in this picture, but at least you can see the finished product. There is also a table runner kit that I'd like to get, and I'm designing a small matching tablecloth. Projects for the future :-)

We are enjoying some beautiful spring weather - daffodils are going crazy in the back yard, and I'm loving seeing them!

Finished a second quilt today - think it came out pretty cute.

I recently "scored" at Hobby Lobby - happened to be in the store when they were having a $1.99 sale on all McCall's patterns, and I found patterns for crafts that I had been looking for for quite some time! I have quite a bit of fabric scraps, so I'm eager to get started. Believe it or not, I'm already working on gifts for Christmas 2010! Don't want to wait til late in the year, so maybe I'll be able to make a gift a month, or maybe two a month! :-)

I've been working half-time for several months and will be starting at 30 hours/week next week, so I'm hoping I'll still make good progress on sewing and craft projects once I have less time off :-)

Enjoying the sunshine these past few days. We've had a very mild winter - my favorite kind! ha!

So I finally got myself motivated and finished the small quilt out of the fabric with the dreamcatchers. I added the red rick-rack signifying the Sangre de Cristo mountains here in the Santa Fe area.

I think I'll call this one "Dreaming in the Shadows of the Sangre de Cristos"... :-)

Wow, is it really February 2010 already? Seems like time flies once Thanksgiving arrives - soon it's Christmas, then New Years and suddenly it's February! Hope all enjoyed a wonderful holiday season! Ours was fabulous in sunny Santa Barbara with our precious daughter Nicholle and her boyfriend Robert. We took lots of pictures which are posted on my facebook page and thoroughly loved being with the kids. It was hard to have to leave and come back to Santa Fe.

My crafts have been on hold, but I recently purchased more fabric to make a wall-hanging as well as a quilt. The fabric shown here with the Dream Catchers will become a quilt for me. I love teal, which is the color that attracted me to this fabric, and I plan to have red trim around the border.

I just finished a "wreath" made of cookie cutters wired together, and I may want to make more as gifts or as items for sale. A friend of mine is talking about us being in another craft show this spring, so we may give it a second chance which means I'll need to be working on items. We'll see how successful we'll be this time. :-)

Winter is in full swing here in Santa Fe - we've had several snows, then thaws, then more snow. I am eager for spring!
